Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data. In short: we collect little, sell nothing, and delete what we no longer need.

Last updated July 15, 2026

Cyberou is a content and communications agency for cybersecurity companies. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run our business.

What we collect

When you contact us or work with us we may collect your name, work email, company, and anything you choose to include in a message. When you visit the site we collect basic, privacy-respecting analytics such as page views and referrer, with no advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and deliver work you have engaged us for.
  • To send occasional updates you have asked for, which you can stop at any time.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Legal basis

We process contact data on the basis of legitimate interest and, where relevant, to perform a contract with you. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate, such as email and hosting, each bound by their own data-protection obligations.

Retention

We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cyberou.com.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies and privacy-respecting analytics. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from the banner on your first visit.
